Signing in with your task tracker

What you need to sign in

Taskloc works on top of your company's task tracker. 19 systems are supported, among them Redmine, Yandex Tracker, Bitrix24, Kaiten, OpenProject, GitHub, Jira Cloud, Linear, Taiga, Pyrus, Megaplan, YouGile, Weeek, Aspro.Cloud, monday.com, ClickUp, Asana and Trello. What you enter depends on the tracker:

  • Redmine / Taiga — the tracker address (for example redmine.company.com, without https:// — the app adds it), your login and password.
  • Yandex Tracker / Bitrix24 / Jira Cloud / Linear — OAuth sign-in: tap the button and confirm access on the tracker's page (Bitrix24 also asks for the portal address).
  • Kaiten / OpenProject — the portal/instance address and an API key (token).
  • GitHub — a Personal Access Token.

For Redmine, the login is your username (not your email), unless your Redmine is configured to sign in by email.

Signing in

  1. Open the app — you land on the sign-in screen.
  2. Choose your task tracker on the sign-in screen.
  3. Enter the requested details (for Redmine — the address, then login and password; for OAuth trackers — confirm access; for token-based trackers — the address and the API token).
  4. Tap Sign in.

If the details are correct, the app registers you in Taskloc automatically — no separate sign-up is needed.

After signing in

You land on the tasks screen. The task list is loaded from your tracker — on the first launch this takes a few seconds.

From this screen you can find a task — with the magnifier in the header or by voice — and create a new one right in the tracker with the + button.

GPS tracking is off by default. The app records nothing without an explicit action from you. You can turn tracking on in Settings → Tracking.

Need a second tracker? Do not sign out

To connect one more tracker (for example, add Yandex Tracker next to Redmine), you do not need to sign out — add it via Organizations → your organization → +. If you did sign out and signed in with another tracker from the sign-in screen, Taskloc adds it to your current account on this phone — no new account is created. Signing out

To sign out: Settings → Account → Sign out. Local data is removed; your history syncs with the server the next time you sign in.
