Portal address and an API key from the administrator — connecting Aspro.Cloud
The Aspro.Cloud connector works with the portal's tasks module: it shows tasks, changes their status and writes work time. A project is optional for an Aspro.Cloud task — tasks without a project are visible too.
Connecting is an administrator scenario. The API key is issued by the portal administrator; an employee without administrator rights will not see the required section. This is how Aspro.Cloud works, not a limitation of the app.
Aspro.Cloud receives the duration, not the time of day. The portal stores only the number of hours in a time entry — it will have no start and end ("5 hours", not "from 9 to 14"). The full picture of the shift stays in Taskloc and is visible in the app's reports.
How to connect
- The portal administrator issues a key: System settings → API settings. There they also mark which modules the key can access — the app needs Tasks, Time tracking, Custom fields, Projects and Org structure.
- In the app open Settings → Organizations → your organization → Integrations → "+" (or Settings → Connectors → "+" for a personal connector).
- Choose Aspro.Cloud.
- Enter the portal address — for example
your-portal.aspro.cloud. - Paste the API key and tap Connect.
- In the integration settings choose the employee the hours are written to. Without one the hours are written to nobody — the app will warn you about it.
If a required module is not open to the key, the app says so: this is a portal setting, not a failure. Ask the administrator to open the module in the API settings — you do not need to sign in again.

Aspro.Cloud specifics
- Comments are not written. Task discussions live in a separate portal module, and the app does not use it. The note about a completed session is appended to the end of the task's "Report" field.
- Changes come without an author. The portal does not attribute changes made with an API key to anyone, and they cannot be signed in the task feed. The exception is hours: they are written to the employee chosen in the integration settings.
- A tracker field is the numeric id of a custom field. The field must be in the task field set, otherwise it will not appear on the task. More in "Tracker fields".
