Wrike — connecting

The Wrike connector shows the tasks of your Wrike account and lets you comment on them, change their status and priority, and write time. The role of a project in the app is played by a Wrike project folder.

Address and mileage depend on your Wrike plan. The app reads them from task custom fields, and Wrike's free Free plan has no custom fields — then there is neither address nor mileage. Tasks, statuses, comments and time entries do not depend on the plan.

Attachments are not supported — you cannot attach files or photos to a Wrike task from the app.

How to connect

Wrike is connected from integrations only — it is not in the tracker list at first sign-in.

In the app, open Settings → Organizations → your organization → Integrations → "+".
Choose Wrike.
Tap Sign in with Wrike — a browser window opens to sign in to Wrike. No address to enter: the cloud is www.wrike.com, and Wrike itself reports an account in its European data center after sign-in.
Sign in to Wrike and allow access.

Access inherits every permission of your Wrike user — it cannot be narrowed to specific rights. The tokens are stored on the device; the Taskloc server only exchanges the sign-in code and refreshes the token without keeping them.

Integration settings

The Wrike integration settings have a Wrike: creation and status auto-change block:

Folder for new tasks — where the "+" button on the task list puts a new task. Until a folder is chosen, creating a task is refused with "The quick-create folder is not configured in the Wrike integration".
GPS start status, Timer start status, Completion status — which status the task moves to when a GPS session starts, when a timer starts, and on completion.

Wrike specifics

Statuses are addressed by name — exactly as the status is written in the Wrike workflow. If there is no start status with that name, the app says so with a refusal instead of staying silent; an empty start field leaves the status unchanged at that step. Wrike does not translate the names of its standard statuses: they are New, In Progress, Completed even in a localized interface.
Completion status can stay empty. Completion with an empty or unknown name closes the task with the first status of the Completed group; a name is only needed to close with a specific status.
Time is written as hours on a date. The start and end of the interval are not sent to Wrike, only the duration and the date — a session across midnight lands entirely on one day.
