Team

The Team tab is a separate section in the app's bottom bar for managers. It brings two things together:

• Team online — a live map of where field employees are right now.
• Team statistics — summary figures for a period and the leaders.

For the tab to appear, you first need to build a team — create an organization and invite employees. How to do that is described in Creating an organization and invitations.

Where to find it

Open the app → the Team tab appears in the bottom bar (next to Tasks, Routes and Settings).

The tab is visible only to the manager, admin and owner roles of a team organization. A regular user does not have it.

If there is no Team tab, your account does not have a manager role in a team organization, or you are in your personal organization.

Who turns the features on

The team map and the general statistics are off by default — this is a deliberate decision of the organization (monitoring during working hours).

• The owner and admins can turn them on right in the app: the Team tab → the Team data access section → the Team map and General statistics toggles. Previously this was available only in the web dashboard.
• A manager sees the tab and the data but cannot turn the features on — the owner or an admin does that.

Once turned on, the blocks of the tab come alive immediately, without signing in again.

The owner and admins can not only turn team features on but also restrict what members can do — forbid editing and deleting tasks, GPS tracking, hide sections. See Team policy.

Team online (map)

The map shows where field employees are right now, with their task and how fresh the data is.

Who is visible on the map

Who a manager sees depends on the role:

• The owner and admins see the whole organization on the map — everyone who is tracking right now.
• A manager sees only the employees they share a project with in a connected tracker (Redmine, Yandex Tracker and so on) — this is their area, not the whole organization.

Nobody visible? An employee appears on the map only after they have started tracking a task — without an active session they are not on the map. If you are a manager, you also need a shared tracker project with that employee (add them to the project or wait for the sync — it runs once an hour). An empty map is not a malfunction.

What is shown

Each employee on the map is a marker of their own color. The list next to it shows:

• The employee's name and color.
• The task the session is running for.
• The status:
  • 🟢 Online — the session is active and coordinates update in real time.
  • 🟡 Paused — the session is paused (a break, no movement, weak signal); the last known point is shown.
  • ⚪ Offline — no data for a long time; the point is dimmed.
• "Updated N ago" — how long ago the last coordinate arrived.

Last known location and "seen N ago"

If there has been no data from an employee for a while, their last location within the current session is shown together with a timestamp ("seen an hour ago").

Important: this works only while the session has not finished (it is active or paused). After tracking stops, the employee disappears from the map — the app does not track location outside work sessions. Points older than a few hours are hidden automatically.

Task addresses

If a site address (geofence) is pinned to a task, you can turn on a task pins layer on the map — separate markers for the places tasks are pinned to. The layer is turned on with a toggle on the map.

Team statistics

The same tab shows the team's summary figures for a period:

• Hours, mileage and number of sessions across the whole team.
• Leaders — the top employees by time worked.

The Detailed statistics button opens the full screen with a period switcher (this is the Team tab of the My stats screen). Tapping an employee shows their personal breakdown: the owner and admins can see it for any member of the organization, a manager — only for those they share a tracker project with.

Only aggregates are shown (hours, mileage, number of sessions) — no raw GPS coordinates.

Network

The tab works only with an internet connection — these are live reports, not offline data. Without a network, a "no network" banner is shown (outdated data is not presented as current).

Privacy

• An employee's location is visible to the manager only during an active or paused tracking session — not around the clock.
• The features are turned on by the organization deliberately (separate toggles for the owner and admins) and are a form of monitoring during working hours. More in Privacy.
• If an employee has GPS tracking off, they are not shown on the map.
• General statistics are team aggregates; an employee's personal breakdown is available to the owner and admins across the whole organization, and to a manager only when they share a tracker project.
